Working with Like-Minded

We genuinely care about the people we work with. Whether you’re a full-time employee or an occasional contractor, we have your best interests at heart. We work out of our office in Addington, Christchurch, but offer flexibility for you to live a balanced life.

We’re a certified B Corporation based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, building the next generation of learning experiences. Learning designer … with an opportunity to grow!

We’re excited to tell you that we have the space for someone to join our team who has a passion for learning and a creative mind that is open to novel approaches in learning!

Like-Minded are looking for an experienced learning designer to work with a multi-disciplinary team, primarily out of the Christchurch-based office. You’ll engage with the clients to understand their needs, then go on to design and develop high-quality learning experiences, using a range of delivery methods.

There is also potential, for the right person, to grow their learning management and leadership skills. If you are looking to take the next step in your career and want to use your learning design skills to help us further develop our products and our team, then this could be your next step. If you’re ready for a change and you can show us examples of what you have done to contribute to online courses, then we want to hear from you.

We’re taking in applications up to 5pm on the 21 December 2022 and will be in touch regarding interviews early January 2023.

If you know your way around code and can bring experience of customising learning management systems, then we are always interested to hear from you.

We need problem solvers and people who can confidently work under the hood of our learning technology solutions.

Learning technologists

If you understand learning technology from the user perspective, and have worked with a range of learning management systems, we can use your skills to create amazing front end experiences for our clients.

If you can you make the likes of Totara LMS or Moodle sing and dance, then get in touch.

Instructional designers

We get excited working with imaginative storytellers who can turn core content into interesting learning experiences.

You need to have a good grasp of adult learning principles and understand the nuances of online and in-person learning design. Your writing skills are always in demand here and we’d like to hear from you.

Learning developers

If you bring experience using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, and Adobe software, then you have core skills essential to delivering our learning products.

Creativity and imagination drive this role, but you also need to be a stickler for attention to detail and a have a passion for quality.

Graphic designers

If you have that creative flair and a mix of design skills including layout, illustrations, photo and video editing, then we can use those skills to create engaging learning.

Visual design is a huge part of appeal and success. If you are interested in graphic design for learning, get in touch.

Learning solutions designers

We are always on the lookout for people with strong client-facing skills. We need you to exude confidence, be able to unpick their needs, and translate what they are asking for into what they need.

You must be able to hold your own in a technical conversation and be a problem solver who can get to the bottom of what needs to be done.
