Our story, philosophy, and values
Our down-to-earth team loves working in a collaborative and process-driven way. We stay focused on your people, why change is needed, and your big-picture goals. We’re passionate about helping organisations enhance business performance and enjoy a more engaged workplace.
Cathy Gillespie and Hamish Paton brought together their educational and technology backgrounds to form Like-Minded, offering over 35 years of combined industry experience. Every day is an opportunity to do what they love, in an environment they love working in. Enjoying continual growth over the years, the team has grown and now offer extensive experience in – learning strategy, learning technology, systems and process, content and instructional design, capability mentoring, and performance evaluation.

Our brand choice
Our name says it all! When a large pool of similar people come together, those with a similar vision and values – the ‘like-minded’ people – come together. We recognise that there might be different paths to achieving the same desired outcome, and there will be diversity of thinking and approach. However, when it comes to the core purpose, bringing like-minds together can achieve a better outcome.
We want to work with people who think and feel the same way as we do about developing effective learning experiences.
You’ll see in our imagery that the gears in our Like-Minded logo are connected and represent our minds working together. A smooth transaction, not touching, or pushing against each other. Both needed; both playing their part for the desired outcome.
