History influences todays operations
Toyota use an online course to introduce new staff to the culture of Toyota New Zealand and to explain how the history of the company underpins the way it operates as it does today.
Having created the course a number of years ago, they were ready for a fresh look and feel. It was time to review and update the content and Like-Minded could help.
Designing content for real connection
We reviewed the existing content with the L&D staff and subject matter experts at Toyota and worked hard at understanding the culture and the messages that they felt were key to the experience.
Through a strict process of quality assurance, review and testing, we made sure that the delivery style connected new employees with the faces and ideals of Toyota’s past.
Giving the material a modern twist
The outcome was a fresh new flavour to the course, so that it would meet modern expectations in terms of the look and the navigation. Delivered equally successfully through desktop, laptop or tablet, it gave Toyota a cost-effective way of passing on their story and support new staff to integrate easily into the Toyota family.
